Two Parks
I’ve gone through the painstaking task of organizing my photo collections in the middle of 2022. This involved logging all of my images in a spreadsheet with important data tagged to each photo such as where it lives on my hard drive, the year it was taken, and most importantly, where the image was taken. There were two parks that stood out to me: Death Valley and Zion. A little over 50% of my portfolio comes from these two parks.
It didn’t really come as a surprise but it cements just how many experiences I’ve had within the confines of each of these places. In my image folders, photos from these places can be seen scattered in various different locations on my site. I felt like it was important to also have a page for each that shows images from each respective park only.
A story begins to develop for each of these places: a story of each park and the photographer behind the camera.
